Entirely handset by Caine in Syntax 8-point type, roman and italic (a very late and modern humanistic sans-serif, also used for this digital catalogue), it was created by Hans-Eduard Meier in 1969 for the prestigious Stempel typefoundry in Frankfurt. Letterpress-produced contemporary typography and a conceptual artwork.
